Monroe and MacFeely Galleries
A highlight of the the Arts Club of Washington’s gallery season, this exhibition brings together works in a wide range of styles and media by Arts Club member artists. This exhibition is juried by Leo J. Kasun.
Spilsbury Gallery
The Spilsbury Gallery will feature acrylic paintings by Earl Tester. The Spilsbury is a cooperative gallery featuring and run by club members. Lorna Aldrich, Gloria Benedetto, Camilla Bozzoli, Vicki Doyle, Susanne Eisinger, Larry Jarvik, Martine Khadr-Van Schoote, Peggy McNutt, Carol Porter, Lou Tanner, and Jonathan Zuck.

Club Hours
The Arts Club is open 10:00 am to 5:00 pm Tuesday through Friday and 10:00 am to 2:00 pm on Saturday. The Club is closed on Sunday and Monday. Hours are subject to change. Galleries are free and open to the public.
About the Juror
Leo J. Kasun is the head of the National Gallery of Art’s Department of Education Resources where he oversees the
production of educational resources relating to the Gallery’s permanent collections and temporary exhibitions as well as their distribution to millions of viewers in thousands of communities across the country via the internet, television broadcasts, and its free-loan
lending program..

Mr. Kasun holds both Masters and Bachelors degrees in the History of Art from the George Washington University and Arizona State University. Prior to his tenure at the National Gallery of Art he was a researcher in the Office of the Charles Willson Peale Papers at the Smithsonian Institution’s National Portrait Gallery.  He has also served as the treasurer to both the Washington chapter of the Victorian Society in America and the Dupont Circle Conservancy. He has lectured at numerous art museums and cultural institutions including the Corcoran Gallery, Saint Louis Art Museum, and Meadowbrook Hall.  He has also traveled extensively throughout Europe and as served as a study leader for over thirty Smithsonian Institution study tours.
