Wednesday Art Workshop



Fall Session

September 28– November 23, 2016

Wednesdays 10 am – 1 pm

Instructor: Pattee Hipschen

This class is structured to accommodate all artistic levels from the beginner to the intermediate.   Students learn ways to improve their paintings through composition, color and technique using both OIL and ACRYLIC paint.    Instruction includes individual focus as well as short demos.   Students bring in their own photographs or other reference materials as needed.

9 sessions – $175, single sessions $25 per class

About the Instructor: Pattee Hipschen has been painting landscapes and portraits for over thirty years and formally exhibiting since 2005. Her work reflects her travels throughout the USA capturing her subjects in rich, loose strokes with a distinctive style of bright and intense color. Pattee received her AA IN Studio Fine Arts from NVCC and her BFA in Art History from GMU. She teaches workshops through the Art League School and the Artist’s Alliance in Virginia as well as independently funded venues throughout the country. To view her work:
